Your adventure begins at the edge of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, Victoria Falls, where the roar of the Zambezi sets the tone for an exciting journey. From there, you’ll visit the Chobe National Park in Botswana, where the Big 5 await your arrival. As this isn't already enough, you will then hop on a flight to explore the cosmopolitan charm of Cape Town, indulge in fine dining and wine in the Cape Winelands, and soak up the sun on the golden sands of Camps Bay.


This itinerary blends relaxation, exploration, and once-in-a-lifetime moments—perfectly tailored to create lasting memories.

Typical range for such a ticket is around $400, and the price point that we included with no upcharge or additional fees in the stated trip price. We plan to provide an early bird special, which will lock in prices and not be subject to any price increases that may occur 12 months out from the trip (which is a typical time frame where we can guarantee prices).

Upon arrival at Tambo International Airport, you will check into the City Lodge At O.R Tambo Airport. This accommodation is actually located in the airport and features an expansive lobby lounge, complete with flight information boards, as well as uncapped Wi-Fi, a fitness room, and a sparkling swimming pool with deck, offering an ideal space to refresh before the next stage of your journey.

Organized for convenience and logistical purposes, this particular accommodation ensures that all travelers have an easy, stress-free start to their trip, as you will set up for Zimbabwe the following day to officially begin your trip.

Day 2 - Victoria Falls

Welcome to Victoria Falls

On this day, after breakfast, you’ll rise with a sense of anticipation as you journey from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, where the next two days unfold, and your adventure truly begins.

Once you’ve settled into your accommodations, your guide will greet you and escort you to the thundering Falls for an immersive half-day exploration. You’ll uncover powerful stories, rich history, and fascinating insights about this natural wonder, one of the most awe-inspiring sights on Earth.

Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel to refresh and prepare for an unforgettable evening. As the golden hour approaches, you’ll step aboard the River Song Sunset Luxury Cruise at 5 p.m., gliding along the iconic Zambezi River while savoring the beauty of the African dusk.

Following a day filled with wonder and breathtaking moments, you’ll head back to your hotel to relax and recharge for what comes next.

After breakfast, you’ll depart early for a full-day safari adventure to Chobe National Park in Botswana, crossing smoothly from Zimbabwe with just your passport. Your guide, already familiar from your time at Victoria Falls, will handle all border details so the experience feels effortless.


Once inside Chobe, the day unfolds into a spectacular safari experience. You can expect to traverse diverse landscapes, from riverfront plains to woodland and savanna, while searching for some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife. Chobe is world-renowned for its massive elephant herds, and sightings often include lions, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, and an incredible variety of birdlife. Your expert guide will interpret animal behavior, track movements, and share insights that bring the ecosystem vividly to life, transforming the drive into a rich, story-filled exploration rather than simply a sightseeing outing.

Today is a purposeful pause, a travel day designed to help you reset as you journey from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to vibrant Cape Town in South Africa, your third country of this remarkable African adventure.

With an afternoon departure, you can enjoy a relaxed morning: sleep in, savor an unhurried breakfast or early lunch, and take a quiet moment to reflect on the awe-inspiring experiences you’ve already collected. The journey includes a brief layover in Johannesburg, where you’ll re-enter South Africa before continuing on a simple domestic flight to Cape Town.

Consider using the travel time to truly recharge, journal your favorite memories so far, sort through photos, listen to music, or simply rest. By the time you arrive in the evening, you’ll be refreshed, grounded, and ready to step into a completely new rhythm and landscape for the next chapter of your journey.

Today invites you to step into the rich layers of culture, history, and beauty that define Cape Town. Your guided exploration begins with a scenic drive past some of the city’s most historic landmarks, including the Parliament of South Africa, Cape Town City Hall, and the Iziko Slave Lodge, before stopping at the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest surviving colonial building in the country. Guests may also choose to stroll through the historic Grand Parade nearby.

As the journey continues, you’ll hear the moving story of District Six en route to a peaceful walk through the lush Company's Garden. From there, the experience shifts into vibrant cultural discovery in the colorful Bo-Kaap, where cobblestone streets, vivid homes, and Cape Malay heritage create one of the city’s most iconic scenes.

You’ll also visit a working diamond cutting facility, gaining insight into South Africa’s historic diamond and gold industries while watching a master cutter at work. The afternoon unfolds with a scenic coastal drive past the V&A Waterfront, Cape Town Stadium, Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay before arriving at the majestic Table Mountain. After breakfast, you’ll set out on one of the most scenic journeys in the world, a full day of coastal beauty, charming seaside towns, and unforgettable wildlife encounters along the spectacular Cape Peninsula.

Your drive begins along the famed Atlantic Seaboard, passing the glamorous shores of Clifton and Camps Bay, often called “Millionaires’ Paradise” for their stunning homes, golden beaches, and vibrant coastal energy. The route continues to the picturesque harbor town of Hout Bay before winding along the legendary Chapman's Peak Drive, where dramatic ocean views unfold at every turn.

You’ll then enter the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park, where rugged cliffs, sweeping seascapes, and fascinating natural history create a truly iconic African landscape.

The day continues with a drive past the beloved penguin colony at Boulders Beach, where you can observe these charming residents up close in their natural habitat. (Visiting the Penguin colony up close is optional),

Here, you’ll stroll through oak-lined streets filled with art galleries, distinctive boutiques, and beautifully preserved Cape Dutch architecture while learning about the town’s rich cultural history. The experience continues with a guided cellar tour, where you’ll discover the fascinating journey from vine to bottle before enjoying a curated wine tasting paired with a relaxing, included lunch set among the vineyards.

After returning to Cape Town, the late afternoon is yours to unwind, whether relaxing by the hotel pool or, if the group agrees, enjoyinga peaceful time near the bay.

Today is a gentle farewell day, allowing you time to relax, reflect, and prepare for your journey home. Since most departing flights from Cape Town leave in the evening, the morning and early afternoon remain open for rest, last-minute exploration, or one final meaningful experience.

For those who wish, an optional visit to Robben Island offers a powerful and deeply moving way to close your time in South Africa. This historic site, long regarded as a symbol of the triumph of the human spirit over adversity, holds more than 500 years of layered history. Ferries depart from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront, and the full experience lasts about 3.5 hours, including the round-trip ferry ride.

Whether you choose this profound historical journey or simply enjoy a relaxed final day at your own pace, today offers space to reflect on the extraordinary memories, connections, and discoveries you’ve gathered across the Motherland.
